How to Book a Scheduled Delivery A Step-by-Step Guide

Whether you're sending something across town or just need a delivery lined up for a future date, this guide walks you through everything you need to get your scheduled service booked smoothly.

Before You Begin — A Few Quick Things to Know

  • No app needed. This service runs entirely in your browser — nothing to download or install, and no phone permissions required.

  • You'll need a valid cell phone number. It's used for verification codes and important updates throughout the process.

  • Pro tip: Take a photo of your item and/or Bill of Sale before you start and save it to your gallery. You'll want it handy when you get to the item description step.

To get started, simply scan the published QR Code or click the shared link. This will open the Service Booking/Quote screen.

Quick note on availability: The icons at the top of the screen show how many resources are currently available for Real-Time/On-Demand service. If nothing's available and you need delivery right away, check back later — or just schedule for a future date, which is exactly what this guide covers.

Step 1: Enter Your Addresses & Pick a Date

Enter your Pickup and Drop Off addresses, then press Continue.

When prompted, press Schedule Later. You'll land on a scheduling screen where you can tap the date field to choose your preferred day and time. Once you've selected it, press OK, double-check the date looks right, and press Continue.

A couple of things to keep in mind:

  • Your scheduled time must be at least 2 hours from now

  • You can schedule up to 30 days in advance

Step 2: Describe Your Items

This is where you give the driver a clear picture — literally — of what's being picked up.

  • Tap Cargo Image #1 to attach a photo of your item or Bill of Sale. You can add up to 5 images using the + Add an Image icon.

  • Write a description of your item.

  • Add any delivery instructions if needed (e.g., leave at door, call on arrival, etc.).

When you're done, press Continue.

Step 3: Build Your Quote

You'll now see a list of estimated prices displayed next to vehicle icons on the right side of the screen. Review your options and select the quote that works best for you.

Scroll down to check if there are any additional service options available — things like special handling or extras that may apply to your delivery. Select anything relevant and review the updated total.

Press Continue when you're ready to book. If you've changed your mind, you can simply close the browser at this point — no charge, no commitment.

Step 4: Confirm Your Details & Set Up Payment

Now it's time to lock things in.

  1. Enter your personal details — make sure your cell phone number is accurate, as verification codes and service updates will be sent here. Press Continue.

  2. Check your texts — you'll receive a verification code. Enter it into the browser and press Continue.

  3. Enter your payment details. Most major credit cards are accepted (American Express is the exception).

  4. If you have one, press Add Promo Code, enter it, and press Confirm.

  5. Press Continue, then review your full booking summary on the Confirm Pickup screen.

  6. When everything looks good, press Confirm to send your request to the delivery network.

What happens next?

  • Your request goes out to available drivers. Depending on how many are online, acceptance may take a few minutes.

  • Once a driver accepts, you'll get a text message confirming your booking, along with a clickable link to track your delivery or cancel if needed.

    • Scheduled service can be cancelled up to 60 minutes before the pickup time with no penalty.

  • Your browser will also update from Pending to Accepted, and driver details will appear at the bottom of the screen.

  • A second text will follow with your Service Call ID and Pickup Code — save this! Your driver will need the Pickup Code when they arrive.

  • On the day of your delivery, you'll get a reminder text 30 minutes before your scheduled pickup time.

Heads up: If no driver accepts your request within 60 minutes, it will be automatically cancelled. You're welcome to try booking again.

Step 5: Meet Your Driver

When the driver arrives, greet them and share your Pickup Code.

If you won't be at the pickup address yourself, make sure someone else is available to provide the code — the driver needs it to start the service.

Once the code is entered, the driver will inspect your items to confirm everything matches the booking, then load and secure them for transport to your drop-off address. When the delivery is complete, the driver will upload a proof of delivery photo and you'll receive a text letting you know your service is done.

Step 6: Wrap It Up

After your delivery is complete, you can rate your driver and leave a tip by clicking the link in the text message titled "Your On-Demand Service Call has been booked."

Once you're done, close the browser. Your service summary is always accessible by clicking the hyperlink in your original confirmation text — so feel free to save it for your records.

That's it! A few taps, a quick verification, and your delivery is scheduled. The whole process is designed to be straightforward, and you'll have text updates keeping you in the loop every step of the way.
